About
Delilah Masket is the undergraduate summer intern at Torres & Caraves Law, and is an aspiring criminal defense attorney.
Delilah is heading into her final year at the University of Southern California, on track to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, as well as a minor in Law and Social Justice. During her time at USC, she has been placed on the Dean's List each year, held several on-campus jobs, and worked to serve the surrounding Los Angeles community in more ways than one. She completed the Service Engagement Internship through the Repair the World Foundation, joined the Tzedek Committee to create volunteer opportunities for fellow students, and worked with PESA (Parents, Educators/Teachers & Students in Action) to prevent youth from entering the criminal system.
In 2024, Delilah completed a clerkship with the Public Defender Office of Contra Costa County, working primarily in the clean-slate department to help clients receive expungements, as well as conducting intakes with clients both in English and Spanish. This experience exposed her to the world of criminal law, and sparked her excitement for criminal defense and fighting zealously for underserved and marginalized communities.
Her previous experience as a Social Media Coordinator at BlueWave Medicine complemented her studies, allowing me to apply her knowledge in a practical context while enhancing her ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and target audiences. This position gave her valuable skills in marketing and social media promotion, which she will implement with Torres & Caraves Law as well.
